南友高速公路“五纵七横”国道主干线衡阳至昆明公路的重要组成部分，也是中国通往越南乃至东南亚地区便捷的陆路国际大通道，被誉为“南疆国门第一路”。公路全长179.2公里，双向4车道，工程总投资17.14亿元，是广西第一条沥青混凝土路面高速公路。
Nanning-Youyiguan highway is an important part of Hengyang-Kunming highway in "Five vertical and seven horizontal" trunk highway,and the most convenient land international thoroughfare from China to Vietnam and southeast Asia , known as the "southern countries main highway”. The highway is 179.2 km long and of two-way 4 lanes, with a total investment of 1.714 billion yuan, is the first in Guangxi highway asphalt concrete pavement.
